With accessory taillights or taillight/indicator combinations, a small leakage current may flow in the brake line as soon as the taillight cable is connected.
This can lead to malfunctions. For example, in LoFs when a trailer is connected.
To prevent this, a 5A blocking diode is connected in series to the brake light cable in such a way that the current can flow to the taillight but not back.
BLOCKING DIRECTION: If you place the diode in front of you and the silver bar on the diode is on the right, the current can only flow from left to right.
