Daytime running light control box for vehicles without light switch

By installing the DRL CONTROL- BOX CB1, the correct switching between daytime running lights and the front lighting on the vehicle is ensured. According to regulations, the daytime running light must be connected in such a way that it automatically switches off when the main headlight is switched on. Since the main headlight is always on in vehicles without a light switch, the daytime running light function would not be usable correctly. The BOX is suitable for LED and conventional headlights and is installed between the main headlight with integrated or separate daytime running light and the vehicle electronics. The parking light function, which is switched via the ignition lock when the vehicle is parked, is fully functional.

Yellow = High beam (+)
Blue = Low beam (+) ON / OFF switch between
White = Parking light (+)
Red = Ignition 15 (+)

Blue = Low beam (+)
Black = Ground (-)

To the daytime running light:
White = Parking light (+)
Red = Daytime running light (+)

NOTE:
A separate ON and OFF switch for the DRL CONTROL-BOX is also required (not included).
The rear tail light must always remain on, i.e. connect to ignition plus.

Should this product, in conjunction with the TYPE 6 headlight, cause the daytime running light not to switch on after starting the engine, please proceed as follows:
Install the enclosed 120 Ohm resistor as indicated in the instructions. The headlight should now switch the daytime running light.
